Mykonos ist wohl die berühmteste und exklusivste Insel der Kykladen. Ihr Bild ist geprägt von weissen Häusern, unzählbaren Windmühlen, kleinen Kapellen und einem Hafen mit farbigen Fischerbooten und Yachten. Mykonos präsentiert sich als weltoffene und charmante Insel, genauso wie die gleichnamige Hauptstadt, die weltbekannt und verkehrsfrei ist.
